We at American Photo Tours offer a unique experience for all of our clients:

• All of our tours are all-inclusive
• We maintain an open schedule of tours
• Our clients have an opportunity to plan custom and private tours
• We specialize in the western US, but arrange international tours too
• All of our clients are offered comprehensive technical photographic guidance
• We travel to numerous national parks, Native American sites and National Monuments as well as beautiful unexplored locations
• Our tours offer landscape and nature photography as well as cityscapes
• We travel with solo clients, and groups limited to 6 photographers
• Tours can be arranged for private groups for any itinerary

  This year has been a great adventure as we traveled from Maine to California, and Canada to Texas exploring the beauty of this wonderful continent. Most of the tours have been custom trips fulfilling dreams, celebrating anniversaries and filling out bucket lists for photographers from the Americas and as far away as Australia. We are always excited about designing new itineraries and visiting new places with our client friends and would like to encourage you to send us your ideas and plans, or just join us for one of our wonderful journeys into the landscapes of North America and beyond. • Group/Private/Custom Tours!
  American Photo Tours offers a full range of tour experiences in the US and southern Canada. Our eye opening group tours are listed on this page and are for groups from 1-8 travelers. Our private tours are for one-on-one travelers and small groups from 1-8. These tours allow travelers to choose their own itinerary and time frame for travel anywhere APT goes in North America. Custom tours are for travelers in groups who would like to reserve any of the designated itineraries but wish to select their own time to travel. Call us with your ideas and we will make sure your dreams are realized!

• Retirees and Seniors!
  All of our tours are designed with retirees and seniors in mind. We make special arrangements for people wherever possible, and bring our travelers as close to the wonders of the landscape as possible to reduce walking and increase the comfort of this extraordinary experience. Our private tours, we have already scheduled 7 for the 2013 season, are designed with retirees and seniors in mind to set a comfortable pace and explore the places that you have dreamed about for a lifetime. Contact us about your dreams and personal needs and we will help you realize those dreams through the images you create!

• Choose your own date to travel!
  We will arrange any tour around your schedule for 1-8 travelers, as long as it doesn't conflict with the posted schedule.Travel when you want to!

• You will visit some of the most spectacular national parks and landscapes found in North America.
  After 25 years of providing guidance and educational programs related to these natural wonders, as well as many other sites around the world, we have naturally evolved into a very effective tour company to serve you.

• Avoid the boredom and hassle of long bus rides from Las Vegas, Salt Lake City and Phoenix.
  Our tours start as close to the parks and scenic landscape as possible saving you hours of travel time so you can enjoy your valuable vacation exploring, relaxing and doing what you want to do.  

• Our groups are limited to no more than 8-10 people for any tour. We specialize in small group experiences.
  Our tour groups are from 4-10 people and we stay in very comfortable smaller inns and motels that allow for better rest and an opportunity to relax and enjoy the immense out of doors.

• We concentrate on taking our clients to the most noteworthy locations in the regions we travel to.
  You’ll visit national parks like the Grand Canyon, Zion National Park, Bryce Canyon National Park, Capitol Reef National Park, Yellowstone National park, Grand Teton National Park and Olympic National Park, as well as some of the sites that most people never see in the most scenic regions of the country. We travel to the Columbia River Gorge, Lake Powell by boat and venture into Antelope Canyon and Monument Valley on our photographic adventures.

• Our tour schedule runs from late spring through the autumn months to take advantage of the changing seasons and the best weather for the sites we visit.
  We plan carefully to arrive at our locations at the most interesting times of the year. That might include fog on the west coast, warm sunshine in the canyons or crisp autumn days in the high plateau of Yellowstone. The goal is to make your visit as invigorating and interesting as possible.

• Bring your camera, whether it is a good quality point and shoot, or a high end DSLR or film rig.
  Your trip will always be more memorable with pictures! Whatever your level of experience or interest in photography, if you want to learn a few tips or perhaps new techniques for capturing your life in pixels or on film, we are here to help.
